Terra - Pillowcase - PDF Sewing Pattern

Perfect for adding an artistic, nature-inspired accent to any room. Create a striking square pillowcase featuring a cracked earth applique design that radiates from a central focal point. This sewing project showcases geometric lines inspired by natural earth patterns. 

The design is achieved through a layered applique technique. Two Fabric layers is stacked on top of each other. The design is traced onto the top layer fabric, sewn and the top layer is cut away to reveal the striking design beneath. The sample shown combines luxurious velvet with thin 100% cotton for a natural and rustic texture contrast. The cuttings lines are then left rough and fraying.

This design and pattern includes two versions you can make:

Style 1: Centre design without side frame sections

Style 2: Centre design with outside frame sections

This pattern is available in size:

• 60cm x 60cm / 23 ⅝" x 23 ⅝"

• 80cm x 80cm / 31 ½" × 31 ½"

Sewing level: Intermediate • Advanced 

You would need pattern paper or brown paper after printing this pattern to do some tracing and to expand the pattern. Because of paper size constraints some parts of this patterns will overlap in the print and one of the overlapping pattern pieces has to be traced off.
